An Entire Day with the Golden Artist ..... part 8

Tar Gel

The Tar Gel was fun to do! Andrea told us how she likes to "throw" this gel. That is going to be fun trying. Messy and fun. I think I'll wait until spring or summer when I can do it outside. This was done on an 8" x 10" board. Colours used were cobalt blue, quin magenta, irridescent gold and carbon black. (All in the fluid acrylic line.)

What a day you had Deb! Such fun experimenting and learning about the Golden products. Some those experiments are gorgeous.

WOW, what fun!! This is my favorite and I can see this larger on your wall - just abstracted shapes and colors and texture - beautiful!!!

Deb, These are excellent examples of what you did with the fluid acrylics. Thanks so much for sharing your fun.

Hi Rhonda,

Yes, I'm thinking of doing a really large one for THAT wall. With tar gel and maybe some things collaged on there too.

Thanks!

Hi Sandy! Thanks for dropping by! I love going to workshops and we don't get many around here unless I travel. During the winter, I don't like travelling out on the highways so this was a fun winter break. I love those fluid acrylics! I wouldn't trade my regular w/c paint for them but they're a fun addition.
